Keg-Shaped Treasure Chests are awarded once-per-day to level 60+ players who use the Dungeon Finder to form a group to kill Coren Direbrew in Blackrock Depths during Brewfest. It will always award 10-15 Brewfest Prize Tokens and a possible chance to get one or multiple of the following:

Patch changes[]
Hotfix (2023-09-21): Fixed an issue that prevented Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest from being awarded to players below level 70. - Patch 10.1.7 (2023-09-05): Now contains the
[Renewed Proto-Drake: Brewfest Armor]. - Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Item quality changed from rare to epic.
- Patch 5.4.8 (2014-05-20): Now contains 10-15x Brewfest Prize Tokens.
- Hotfix (2013-09-20): Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest should now be awarding level-90 items.
- Hotfix (2011-09-26): The Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest now contains 10-14 Brewfest Prize Tokens.
- Hotfix (2011-06-29): Satchel of Chilled Goods, Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest, Heart-Shaped Box, and Loot-Filled Pumpkin will no longer remain in character inventory once the associated holiday is over. Players must loot the items from these caches before the corresponding holiday ends. More information can be found here.
