Khan Shodo is the leader of the Gelkis centaur in Desolace. He is aging, and suffers from old war wounds. He therefore rarely leaves Bolgan's Hole and leaves the rule of the clan to his three sons: Rhoho, Sherik, and Jorreth. The Kolkar Khan Leh'Prah sends adventurers to kill Shodo's sons as a show of force, and then seek out the khan in Bolgan's Hole to convince him to ally with Leh'Prah against the Burning Blade.[1] This has the opposite effect, as the deaths of his sons causes Shodo to become despondent and declare that he no longer cares about the fate of Desolace. However, he concedes that he'll consider Leh'Prah's proposal if the adventurers free his beloved daughter Kherrah, a captive of the Maraudine clan.[2] After the heroes free Kherrah, she convinces her father to join Leh'Prah's cause.[3]
Shodo and the Gelkis join the Kolkar and Magram in an attack on the Burning Blade at Shok'Thokar.[4] Shodo helps his fellow khans Leh'Prah and Kammah kill the pit lord Agogridon to win the day. Afterward, he and his clan take up residence in Shok'Thokar alongside the Kolkar and Magram.[5] Shodo directs the adventurers to move on to Feralas to continue aiding the land.[6]
