Khariel was the son of Vandel and would ultimately be killed by the demons of the Burning Legion during the Third War. He was three years old when he died as his village fell. His death would motivate his father into entering the service of Illidan Stormrage and becoming demon hunter, all in the name of vengeance.[1]
