King's Hoard

The King's Hoard.

The King's Hoard is the entrance hall of Utgarde Pinnacle. As the name implies, there are heaps of gold and other treasure throughout the room - all the wealth of King Ymiron. The problem is it all happens to be cursed: Brigg Smallshanks' fellow crewmembers leaped at sight of it and paid for it with their lives, becoming undead skeletons.

The locked gate at the end of the long hall leads into Ymiron's Seat, the King's throne room. The gate will only open once Ymiron is dead.
