This article contains lore taken from Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, the manuals, and/or official bonus maps.

The King's Road was a pass in Alterac that ran along the towns of Strahnbrad and Andorhal, and some other unnamed villages and farmsteads. Falric grew up in this area. Most of the farmers here were independent and isolationists, which meant that they brought their produce and livestock in to the villages, sold it, and came home.[1] The area was protected by the Regional Defenders.

During the Third War, Arthas Menethil, Jaina Proudmoore, and Falric passed through here to investigate the villages and reports of a strange plague. A group of bandits attacked local villagers, but they were defeated by the prince. Murlocs were also present near a river. A magical healing fountain was also located here.[2] One of the farmsteads here was infected and Jaina destroyed it with a fireball.[1]

Halsand's farm may be near or on King's Road as he said that between his farm and the Chillwind Camp, which is near Andorhal, are Syndicate camps which were in Alterac.
