Violet Spellwing
Kirin Tor Summoning Crystal is a quest reward from 
[110] Blood of a Titan.
In order to get the quest, players needed to kill Argus the Unmaker in Antorus, the Burning Throne on Heroic difficulty or higher and loot 
[Blood of the Unmaker].

A gift from the Council of Six for saving Azeroth from the threat of the Legion once more.
In Hearthstone[]
Violet Spellwing appears as a common Mage minion in the Descent of Dragons expansion for Hearthstone. Its flavor text reads: A bird in the hand is worth three missiles in the grave.
Notes[]
The Violet Spellwing follows the same line of acquisition as the Grove Warden mount from the Warlords of Draenor expansion.
