Koa is a steward who was taken captive by the House of Constructs during their attack on the Temple of Courage and was imprisoned in the Hall of Chains in Maldraxxus alongside Kou. After being freed by Aspirant Thales and the Maw Walker,[1] Koa and Kou move to the House of Constructs' central ripening pond along with Thales, Secutor Mevix, and Hipokos.[2] On Thales' request, they subsequently work with the Maw Walker to gather kyrian corpses from the area to prevent them from being turned into abominations.[3] Koa and Kou escape the House of Constructs by riding on the Soulfused Construct along with the rest of the group and can subsequently be found defending the southern entrance to Spider's Watch together.[4]
Koa and Kou help defend the Seat of the Primus when it's attacked by Baron Vyraz's forces.[5] After the battle is won, they relocate inside the Seat and befriend Plague Deviser Marileth's pet slimes, with Koa riding around on Plaguey.[6]
Koa, Kou, and the other former Construct captives return to the Seat of the Primus after the battle of Desmotaeron to witness Draka's promotion ceremony. During the event, Koa and Kou can be seen trying to carry a pile of scrolls, with the former balancing on the latter's shoulders.[7] The stewards and their friends subsequently return to Bastion and are present in Elysian Hold for the Archon's announcement of the new Temple of Devotion.[8] During Adrestes' promotion ceremony at the Seat of the Archon, Koa and Kou can be seen balancing on each other's shoulders and trying to teach Grubby the gormling to fly.[9]
