Lady Moonberry is a faerie located in Ardenweald and a prominent member of the Court of Night. She appears to hold significant authority among the Night Fae Covenant, often seen acting on the Winter Queen's behalf and organizing the defense of Ardenweald when her queen and Lord Herne are not available. She has the power to grant mortals the power of the fae, fights with magic, and can summon illusions called Misty Allies to aid her.[1] Despite her position, Moonberry is typically a kind and playful soul. She enjoys pulling lighthearted pranks[2] and organizing plays at the Star Lake Amphitheater.[3]

Moonberry is first seen in N [55] Journey to Ardenweald and is an important character in both the Ardenweald storyline and the  [Night Fae Campaign].

Notes

  • Lady Moonberry may have been inspired by the fairy jester Puck from the Shakespeare play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Like Puck, she directly serves the royalty of the fae, has powerful magic abilities, and plays pranks on the unsuspecting. She also references the play in one of her quotes. Additionally, the fact that she organizes Ardenweald's plays and is implied to be a playwright is likely another nod to William Shakespeare.
