Large Vile Slime can be found alongside the Thondroril River in Western Plaguelands.
Abilities[]
Arcane Bolt 40 yd range — Hurls a magical bolt at an enemy, inflicting Arcane damage. 1 sec cast.- Arcane Explosion 10 yd range — Sends out a blast wave of magic, inflicting Arcane damage to nearby enemies. 1.5 sec cast.
- Crimson Fury — Gives the caster 2 extra attacks and causes it to inflict additional Fire damage on each successful hit. Lasts 4 sec. Instant. Dispellable.

[Timolain's Phylactery] ( Paladin only)
History[]
This is allegedly the only ooze in game with a mana bar, used for the spell Crimson Fury. Until patch 1.7.0, the slime dropped 
[Timolain's Phylactery]. It was speculated by players that the slime inherited some of Timolain's powers, thus the slime was believed to be part of the Ashbringer quest line.
The sword was ultimately added in the Legion expansion as an artifact for retribution paladins, and the slime (and Timolain's Phylactery) added back as part of a hidden quest to unlock a hidden appearance for the 
[Ashbringer].
Patch changes[]
- Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Re-added as a neutral level 98-110 rare elite. Moved from inside to the Weeping Cave to just outside of it.
- Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Removed.
