Larion is a dwarf located at Marshal's Refuge in the Un'Goro Crater. He and Marvon Rivetseeker are friends.
Background[]
Larion blamed his partner Muigin, another member of the expedition, for getting them lost. Now he has to deal with Muigin sending Bloodpetal Pests to annoy him. Larion can be found on the eastern side of the refuge. He is a dwarf member of the Horde which is pretty unique.
Cataclysm[]
Larion can be found standing at the top of one of the two watch towers in Marshal's Stand, across from Muigin, who is in the other. The watch towers are inaccessible except by flying mount, and both Larion and Muigin will no longer interact with players.

Trivia[]
- If you take the names of Larion and his partner on the other side of the Refuge named Muigin, remove the "n" from the ends and switch the first letters, you get Mario and Luigi. They are even dressed in red and green and carry large hammers.
- When you first talk to Larion, he says that he wishes he could fall down a pipe out of Un'goro crater. In the Mario brothers sidescroller games, Mario and Luigi would often go down large green pipes leading to various places within the level.
