Lava Breath is one of the pet abilities that only core hounds can use. It slows the target's casting speed.

Patch changes[]

Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Removed. Replaced with [Double Bite].
Hotfix (2014-01-10): Lava Breath now reduces the target's casting speed on player targets by 10% (down from 25%).
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): 25% increased to 50%.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): No longer causes damage. Focus cost removed. Cooldown reduced from 10 to 8 seconds.
Patch 3.0.9 (2009-02-10): Now reduces the target's casting speed by 25%, down from 50%.
Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added.
