- This may be considered a higher version of
[Salted Eye], which was also added in Cataclysm. - Prior to Dec. 7th, 2010, the recipe for Lavascale Minestrone only required a Cooking-skill of 450 to be learned. This caused it to give skill-points all the way from 450 to 525, which made it ideal for leveling Cooking[1] (disregarding how Lavascale Catfish takes longer time to farm than some other fish, such as
[Algaefin Rockfish]). The recipe is still located among the 450-recipes at the vendors, which makes it easy to miss when browsing 500-recipes.
