Template:Graphic novel Liam is a human living in a farm who always wanted to study magic. Once, his dad told him he could go to Stormwind as soon as he separates good and bad potatoes. Instead he went out with his friends. Heading to Stormwind they decided to go fishing.
While fishing along the shore with his two friends Jimmy Blackridge and Bram Woodring, he and his friends were abducted and found themselves unwilling crew members for the Bloodsail Buccaneers. The Bloodsail Buccaneers taught the three boys how to fight. Dual daggers was Liam's weapon of choice. While on Plunder Isle, Liam found some magic scrolls and tomes from their looting and learned from them to become proficient at magic. Under the command of Captain Jerias Bloodvein, the captain of the Garrote, Liam and his friends were forced to plunder and kill in merchant ships and Defias Brotherhood strongholds. He helped his friends to escape from the Bloodsail Bucaneers and reach the safety of Sentinel Hill. Liam became apprenticed to an archmage.[1]
