Turns out these rays are not as easy to catch as I thought! You seem like a pretty smart guy, think you can help me out?
I made the bombs but have been having trouble using the raft with my hurt leg. The rays are common in the shallows just west of here. Take the bombs and use my raft to bring me back their stingers!
Oh yeah, watch out for the hammerheads!

Get on, then interact with the Goblin Fishing Raft immediately to Fiznix's right. Raft to the west side of the western Narsong Spire to reach the Sandy Shallows. Sting Rays are swimming about. Try to get one a few yards in front of the raft, then toss a bomb. If lucky, the ray will swim where the bomb is when it goes off, killing it. Give it a few seconds to become lootable, then loot it. Be wary of hostile Cobalt Hammerheads swimming in the shallows, but they are easily avoided.
