During N [35 Daily] The Protectors of Hyjal
Linken yells: Everybody, stop your attacks!
Linken says: Excuuuuse me, princess!
Linken says: I'm not used to fighting with other people.
Linken says: Oh, boy! I'm so hungry, I could eat a fire elemental!
Linken says: Well fought. Farewell, hero.
Un'Goro Crater gossip

I... I'm not really sure how I got here...

I seem to remember traveling... a raft...

  • His name and appearance is a reference to Link, the main protagonist of The Legend of Zelda video game series. The quest sequence that Linken once gave was a reference to the series' first game, The Legend of Zelda.
    • After the player completed N [52] It's a Secret to Everybody, when Linken was spoken to, he said "I met a man that said 'Master using it and you can have this'". This was a reference to the Old Man that appeared at the beginning of the first The Legend of Zelda game.
    • One of his lines during N [35 Daily] The Protectors of Hyjal, Oh, boy! I'm so hungry, I could eat a fire elemental! is a reference to the infamous Legend Of Zelda CD-i games. It comes from the original phrase, "Oh, boy! I'm so hungry, I could eat an octorok!"
  • Kinnel is an anagram of Linken, and also a gnome in the same green shirt, but there is no known connection between them.
