- StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty
- The [10-45] Wings of Liberty quest is an obvious reference to the title.
- Hearthstone
- The [Hearthstation] is an obvious reference to the game.
Movies
- Frozen
- [Let It Go]: This spell is an obvious reference to the movie Frozen.
- [10-45] Getting the Band Back Together: this Jewelcrafting profession quest is a reference to the refrain spoken throughout the movie. When trying to rally their old bandmates to help save the orphanage where Jake and Elwood were raised, their reprise was always "Guys, we're getting the band back together!"
- Tehd & Marius' Exellent Adventure: Is a clear reference to the movie "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure"!
Music
- [N'ero, Band of Promises]: This item is a reference to both the Dubstep artist Nero, and one of his produced tracks "Promises". The flavor text is a reference to one of the vocal hooks in the song: "And it still feels all so wasted on myself!"
- Dragonforce
- In Stormheim, there is a questline that takes place in the Hyrdshal portion with quests by the names of: "Above the Winter Moonlight", "Wings of Liberty", "Heart of a Dragon", "Fury of the Storm", "Where Dragons Rule", and "Cry Thunder"
- When you are starting the "Balance of Power" questline, there is a quest by the name of "The Power Within" which may be a reference to the 2012 album released by Dragonforce.

- Game Characters
- There is a series of four achievements on Argus: [We Came Here For Two Reasons], To Kill Demons, [...And Chew Mana Buns], [And We're All Out of Mana Buns]. When put together, they form the penultimate quote from Duke Nukem: "I came here for two reasons, to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of gum"
- [Infused and Abused]: is a reference to the common phrase "Used and Abused"
- Anime
- [Heathcliff's Immortality]: This is a reference to the Anime Sword Art Online. The leader of Knights of the Blood Oath was named Heathcliff, and due to the games "systems protection" he was listed as an immortal object. Never able to take fatal damage.
- [Skullflower's Haemostasis]: Reference to Skullflower, a Death Knight, and former raider with the Alliance guild <Midwinter> US-Sargeras. Skullflower now works at Blizzard.
- [Good Suramaritan] is a reference to the Good Samaritan.
- [Akainu's Absolute Justice] is a references to One Piece's Admiral Akainu.
