Lord Ello Ebonlocke is a human quest giver located in the Darkshire Town Hall in Duskwood. He was the mayor of Darkshire, leading the Council of Darkshire. He is also a relative of Commander Althea Ebonlocke, the former leader of the Night Watch.
History[]
World of Warcraft[]
When Magistrate Solomon required the help of the Night Watch to save Lakeshire from the Blackrock orcs,[1] Ebonlocke had to refuse because the town would have been overrun by evil before the guards could even reach the edge of the forest.[2]
Cataclysm[]
Around the time of the Cataclysm, the Twilight's Hammer cult tried to recruit the citizens of Darkshire with their apocalyptic notes. As such, Ebonlocke was notified of the situation by Role Dreuger who also placed the Night Watch on high alert.[3]
Legion[]
During the third invasion of the Burning Legion, Lord Ello Ebonlocke betrayed Stormwind by becoming a leading member of the Veiled Hand, after being promised freedom and respect by The Herald. He was present in the town hall when Sister Althea Ebonlocke gave a speech to the Council, announcing that once Caden Shadowgaze arrived, the cult would depart to Stormwind City in order to stage a demonic invasion. However, the meeting was interrupted by the Shadow of the Uncrowned who tried to assassinate Althea. The attempt failed, and Ello and the councilmen escaped.[4]

Lord Ello Ebonlocke is the ruler of Duskwood.[5] He was a healer and wizard in the Warcraft RPG and was changed to a mage and priest in the World of Warcraft RPG.[6]
Commander Althea Ebonlocke is Ello's daughter.[7]
