Machine of Origination

The Machine of Origination is a massive device created by the mysterious First Ones and interred within their Sepulcher in the realm of Zereth Mortis in the Shadowlands. It was once used by the First Ones to order the entire cosmos into the six major cosmic planes and the mortal universe. Since those distant days it laid dormant within its hidden corner of the Shadowlands, powerless and inert, until the Jailer Zovaal reactivated it using the world-soul of Azeroth as a power source and attempted to remake reality into one that served him, so it could stand against what he saw as a coming threat. However the Maw Walkers from Azeroth were able to defeat the Jailer on the verge of his great victory, shutting down the Machine of Origination once again.
