Magus of the Dead is an Azerite trait available to Unholy death knights.

Notes

This trait summons a skeletal mage with the following abilities:
- Frostbolt — Deals X Frost damage and reduces their movement speed by 50% for 4 sec.
- Shadow Bolt — Deals X Shadow damage.

It casts Frostbolt first, then Shadow Bolt, alternating between the two spells until it expires.

Hotfix (2019-03-27): Fixed a bug that allowed Magus of the Dead to melee attack.
Patch 8.1.5 (2019-03-12):
- Magus of the Dead no longer melee attacks, and will no longer have small delays between casting its spells.
- Magus of the Dead's Frostbolt can now be dispelled.
- Tooltip corrected to say "Army of the Dead" instead of "Army of the Damned".
Hotfix (2018-12-11): Reduced to 50% effectiveness when engaged in combat with enemy players.
Patch 8.1.0 (2018-12-11): Added, replacing [Festering Doom].
