[Restored Artifact] from Tan Shin Tiao, the Lorewalkers quartermaster in the Seat of Knowledge in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

Having the locator in your bags will not only cause all new digsites to be Mantid digsites, but prevent you from digging in non-Mantid digsites. It is therefore required that you use the included 
[Lorewalker's Map] to randomize your digsites into Mantid ones. Note that the map has a 30-minute cooldown, in case you used one shortly before purchasing the kit.

Patch 5.4.0 (2013-09-10): Mantid Artifact Sonic Locator no longer randomizes digsites when acquired, and is more difficult to obtain. They can now only be purchased as part of a [Mantid Artifact Hunter's Kit], which includes a [Lorewalker's Map]. - Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Added.
