This article contains lore taken from Warcraft novels, novellas, or short stories.

Margoz was a fisherman native to Kul Tiras who had come to Theramore soon after the Battle of Mount Hyjal in an attempt to make more profit than he had in Kul Tiras. Still, according to his fellow fishermen, he was very unskilled and because he was small and weak, continued to live a very poor life and was often taken advantage of. He was eventually recruited into the service of a demon named Zmodlor, who had established the Burning Blade cult among both the orcs and humans of Kalimdor. The cult's goal was to start a full-scale war between orcs and humans again and Margoz's job was to sow anti-orc sentiments in Theramore. His attempts to do so in the Demonsbane tavern were very successful and Zmodlor continued to manipulate both the orcs and humans into starting another war between the Alliance and the Horde again.

Strov was to find some information about the clan. His brother, Manuel, showed him which person Margoz was. By that time, Margoz was drunk and left the tavern. Strov followed him and discovered that Margoz is in contact with a demon. Strov was ultimately killed by the demon Zmodlor who noticed that Strov was spying on Margoz.

The demon's plans were eventually discovered, and he was banished into the Twisting Nether.[1] Margoz's fate after that is unknown.

Notes[]

  • When he met Erik, Margoz told him that he was conscripted from Kul Tiras into fighting the Burning Legion in Kalimdor. He lied, and in truth, he came to Theramore once the war was over.[2]
