Marin Bladewing is a night elf warden serving under Maiev Shadowsong. She took part in the Firelands Invasion as part of the Shadow Wardens, during which Mount Hyjal was saved from the elemental forces of Ragnaros. She later joined the Wardens in resisting the third invasion of the Burning Legion from Azsuna, under the command of Sira Moonwarden and Maiev Shadowsong.
At the time of the Fourth War, Marin and her fellow Wardens committed themselves to the Alliance cause, and fought alongside their leader Maiev in the campaign to drive the Horde from Darkshore.
Background[]
Firelands[]
Marin Bladewing originally appeared as a Shadow Warden at the Forlorn Spire in the Molten Front. There, she took part in the campaign against the Fire Lord, Ragnaros, and his minions, in order to save all of Mount Hyjal from destruction. She was accompanied in this quest by a number of other Wardens.
Draenor[]
During the War in Draenor, Marin was part of a contingent of Wardens sent by Maiev Shadowsong to protect Archmage Khadgar as he worked against the Burning Legion on alternate Draenor. Led by Cordana Felsong, the group was stationed across the continent, with Marin herself being found in Starfall Outpost in Shadowmoon Valley and Yrel's Watch in Nagrand.
Broken Isles[]
By the time of the third invasion of the Burning Legion, Marin and her fellow Wardens had reestablished themselves on the Broken Isles, where they guarded the Vault of the Wardens against all threats. The demons' attack on the facility, aided by Cordana Felsong herself, succeeded in breaching the Vault. Marin would act as quartermaster for the organization from Wardens' Redoubt in Azsuna, from which she and her sisters fought desperately to drive back the Legion's forces.
Battle for Azeroth[]
Warden Bladewing and her sisters would answer the call of Maiev Shadowsong and Tyrande Whisperwind, as the kaldorei prepared to retake Darkshore from its Horde occupiers during the Fourth War. They would venture with Maiev to Bashal'Aran, where they defended High Priestess Tyrande during her ritual to become the Night Warrior, and subsequently witnessed her transformation.[2]
Later, Marin and her sisters took part in the Battle for Darkshore alongside other Alliance forces.
