Matrix Punchograph 3005

Matrix Punchograph 3005 is a fixed device located throughout Gnomeregan. There are five models: 3005-A, 3005-B, 3005-C, 3005-D and 3005-E. These devices were used in [30D] Data Rescue (removed in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm) and to train in certain Engineering schematics.

Models and locations[]

Matrix Punchograph 3005-A's are located in the Workshop area (the northern room of the Train Depot) outside the Gnomeregan instance. Accessing with a [White Punch Card] in your inventory grants a [Yellow Punch Card]. These are the only Punchographs outside the instance.
Matrix Punchograph 3005-B's are located in the Dormitory. Accessing with a [Yellow Punch Card] grants a [Blue Punch Card]. The schematic for [Minor Recombobulator] can also be accessed by Engineers with 140 skill.
Matrix Punchograph 3005-C's are located on the upper-level platform in the Launch Bay with Electrocutioner 6000. Accessing with a [Blue Punch Card] grants a [Red Punch Card].
Matrix Punchograph 3005-D's are located on the west side of the lower level of the Engineering Labs. Accessing with a [Red Punch Card] grants a [Prismatic Punch Card]. The schematic for [Discombobulator Ray] can also be accessed by Engineers with 160 skill and a [Security DELTA Data Access Card].
Matrix Punchograph 3005-E's are located in the Dormitory at the top left chamber. There is a need of [Prismatic Punch Card] to access it. It is needed to tame the Sentient Mechano Strider.

Binary translations[]

Each Matrix Punchograph machine has three different states: without card, with card, dispensing new card. Each state has an amusing phrase of Binary code as well as instructions for use of the Punch Cards. Machines B and D also share a different phrase while dispensing special engineering schematics.
