Notes and trivia

During Metamorphosis, [Chaos Strike] transforms into [Annihilation], and [Blade Dance] transforms into [Death Sweep].
Metamorphosis forms retain the demon hunter characters' hair color and tattoo shape.
Metamorphosis is an ultimate ability available to the Illidan Stormrage and Demon Hunter hero units in Warcraft III.
Metamorphosis is one of Illidan's Heroic Abilities in Heroes of the Storm.

Hotfix (2017-06-13): Casting Heroic Leap, Infernal Strike, Metamorphosis, or Grappling Hook while rooted will no longer consume the cooldown.
Hotfix (2016-08-12): Heroic Leap, Grappling Hook, Infernal Strike, and Metamorphosis will now work more consistently, especially going up hills.
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Added.
