Notes[]
- Menethil is the name of the former ruling family of Lordaeron, most notably of King Terenas Menethil II and Prince Arthas Menethil.
- As such, since the item dropped from Naxxramas, it was a common speculation at the time that the mace was the former weapon of Arthas when he was still a paladin, but it was later revealed that his weapon was actually named
[Light's Vengeance].
