Mithril Deposits can be found primarily in zones that have a minimum level of 30, 35, or 40.

With Mining (1) in retail or Mining (175) in Classic, these veins can be looted for:

•  [Mithril Ore] (guaranteed if Mining is 150 or higher)
  •  [Mithril Ore Nugget] (if Mining is 149 or lower; retail only)
•  [Solid Stone] (common / uncommon)
•  [Aquamarine] (rare / very rare)
•  [Black Vitriol] (rare / very rare)
•  [Citrine] (rare / very rare)
•  [Star Ruby] (rare / very rare)

Items with multiple listed rarities signify a difference between retail and Classic. (retail rarity / Classic rarity).

Quest items

The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.3a but is present in Classic Era.

Mithril Deposits in Felwood can also contain  [Tainted Vitriol] if the player has a  [Cenarion Beacon] in their inventory.
