Moonfang Snarlers are wolves that appear in the forest of western Darkmoon Island. They start appearing when it's time for Moonfang to make her appearance. Killing most all of them will cause a zone-wide announcement of Moonfang Dreadhowls appearing.

Prior to 5.4.0, these wolves served no purpose, and only a handful would be up at a time. However, they did reward a 
[Grisly Trophy] when killed.
Patch changes[]
- Hotfix (2014-11-03): Reduced the levels of Moonfang, Moonfang Packmate, Moonfang Dreadhowl, Moonfang Snarler, and Darkmoon Rabbit back to pre-Warlords expansion levels. The creatures needs to respawn for the changes to take effect.
- Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Now level 99.
- Patch 5.4.0 (2013-09-10): Updated model. Renamed from Darkmoon Wolf.
- Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Level increased from 85 to 90.
