Moragg is an observer boss located in the Violet Hold.

Cyanigosa has enlisted Moragg to help her annihilate Dalaran's renegade magi. This nightmarish demon once served the Burning Legion, eviscerating Sargeras's enemies with the baleful gaze of his seven eyes. Now he will show Azeroth's heroes that one does not simply walk into the Violet Hold...

Abilities

•  Ray of Suffering 45 yd range — Deals Shadow damage to a single target over time. Shadow damage equal to 8% of total health inflicted every sec for 5 seconds.
•  Ray of Pain 45 yd range — Inflicts 2000 Shadow damage to an enemy and leaves it wounded, reducing the effectiveness of any healing by 15% for 5 sec.
•  Corrosive Saliva 5 yd range — Lick the enemy, covering it in saliva that eats away 5% of its armor per application. Stacks up to 20 times.
•  Optic Link 50 yd range — Channels a beam of dark energy at the target, causing Shadow damage over 12 sec. This damage is dealt slowly at first, and builds up as the channel reaches its full duration. Does 700 damage per sec for 12 seconds. Goes up to 3000 the further you are away from him.

Tactics

This is a basic tank and spank boss. The only thing that tanks may need to pay attention to is the occasional spell critical on the tank; these hit for 5k damage at most and should simply be healed through. The party should generally stay as close to the boss as possible to avoid Optic Link deaths.

Notes

If your party wipes after defeating Moragg, he will be replaced with the Chaos Watcher during subsequent attempts.
