Morgan Montaine is a human mercenary and the father of Rufus Montaine with whom he visited Durnholde and watched the orc Thrall in fights. Rufus was impressed in the orc and wanted to fight him but Morgan was against it. He was goaded into giving permission by fellow mercenaries and Blackmoore himself. Years later, he got into shady dealings and his son left him to join the Proudmoore family. Morgan's father fought with Admiral Proudmoore in the Second War.[1]
