Nerubian (only named as such in the non-canon RPG) is the main language of the nerubians.[1] Chieftain Wintergale describes it as an ancient and harsh language.[2] Nerubian script is described as "skittering".[3]
Upon encountering the crypt lord Anub'arak for the first time, Kel'Thuzad noted that although the nerubian spoke perfectly understandable Common, strange buzzing and clicking underlaid his words.[4]
