Description[]
There is a fountain terrace at the end of this path. Before the Scourge invasion, I would bring Suzannah there. I remember how certain I felt then -- in myself, in the Light... in her, and my children. I wonder when it was that my path started to dim.
If there is a shade that can enlighten us, they would be at the fountain.

<Suzannah remains silent for a time.>
...Once, my husband Thomas begged me to leave for Kalimdor to flee the Scourge. He hadn't come to bed that night, instead keeping vigil to protect us. The fear in his voice scared me, and the desperation in his eyes...
<Suzannah gently traces a line across her palm, then clutches it tightly.>
I won't abandon him again. Not this time, not ever.

Approach the fountain.
- Sir Thomas says: What is that? It feels... familiar somehow. Mind taking a look, <name>?
And interact with the Mysterious Stone.
- The ghost of Suzannah appears.
- Sir Thomas says: Another twisted shade... wait, it cannot be! Suzannah?
- Suzannah says: Thomas? Oh no, this is a trap! You need to run!
- Thomas is enveloped by shadows from Hallowed Darkness, casted by Jerome Hayton by the fountain.
- Jerome Hayton says: I knew you would appear, Horseman.
- Sir Thomas says: Aaahhhgg!
- Suzannah says: Thomas!
- Suzannah says: Who are you? What are you planning?
- Jerome Hayton says: I am a simple believer in the Headless Horseman. By Grand Crusader Dathrohan's will, I shall see him restored!
- Suzannah says: You! I need your help! Before you arrived, he placed soulstones nearby to fuel this ritual. We must destroy them!
Find three Soulstone Focus around the Monastery and destroy them. First focus destroyed:
- Suzannah says: I know that man, Jerome Hayton. He was part of Dathrohan's inner circle. Surely he knows of the Dreadlord's impersonation?
Second focus destroyed:
- A Tortured Shade appears.
- Tortured Shade says: No more... No more!
- Suzannah says: These souls, they're fallen crusaders. Jerome trapped them in the stones, but where did he learn such magic?
Third focus destroyed:
- Another Tortured Shade appears.
- Tortured Shade says: Our torment will be yours!
- Suzannah says: That's the last one. Quickly now, before my husband turns!
Return to Thomas and Jerome.
- Suzannah says: Enough Jerome! You cannot maintain your defenses forever, release my husband!
- Jerome Hayton says: You are too late! The power within will no longer be denied!
- Sir Thomas says: Aah-- Aahhhh! Suzannah... flee! GO!
- Suzannah says: Thomas! No!
- Thomas is turned to the Headless Horseman.
- The Headless Horseman says: From ash I rise, a crusade once spurned! Now all shall soon know of the horseman's return!
- Jerome Hayton says: At last, you are restored to your former glory! Now, Horseman! Cleanse Azeroth with your purifying flame!
- The Headless Horseman says: The jig is up, your ruse seen through! I now claim your life, and those of these two!
- The Headless Horseman kills Jerome and gallops away.
- Suzannah says: Thomas!
- Suzannah says: No...
