Obsidian Rest ^[52, 26] is the forward post of the Valdrakken Accord and Wrathion's Blacktalon on the way to Aberrus in northern Zaralek Cavern.

The accord has set up in a ruined tower, bordered by Brimstone Garrison to the north and west, and Slitherdrake Roost to the south.

Keskos, the flight master, has connections to the Dragonscale Camp and Loamm.

Uphill to the east of the rest at ^{[54.5, 23.7]}, a Bronze Timekeeper starts the Brimstone Scramble dragonriding race.
