Of Love and Family is a painting by Artist Renfray, charged with emotion, which represents a portrait of the Fordrings.
When Taelan was a child, the family would often visit Caer Darrow for their excursions. During their last visit, Renfray painted the portrait of them poised along the beachside. For Tirion Fordring, it is his fondest memory, as at that moment, with his wife Karandra and son in his arms, he felt a bond of love and family that he would never know again.[1]
After Tirion's trial for protecting the orc Eitrigg was over, Renfray knew she could no longer let the painting visible to everyone, so she decided to hide her work behind an Unfinished Painting of Azeroth's twin moons, and places it where no one would look, inside the Scarlet Bastion in Stratholme.[2]
Years later, Crusade Commander Eligor Dawnbringer asked adventurers to collect the painting and bring it to him, explaining that it is a painting of great personal value to Highlord Tirion Fordring.[3]
Following the Fourth War, the painting is hanging on a wall of Mardenholde Keep.[4]
