Off Balance is a debuff applied to death knights whenever they change weapons during combat. It temporarily prevents the death knight from benefitting from any [Runeforging] enchantments.

This debuff was added to prevent death knight players from swapping out their weapons during combat in order to benefit from more rune effects than intended.
Changing weapons outside of combat will not apply Off Balance.
