Objectives

Find Warchief Sylvanas Windrunner in Darkshore.

• Meet Sylvanas near the entrance to Darkshore

Description

Do you see all of the wisps about? I have seen this once before, when the demon Archimonde was felled by the sting of hundreds - no - thousands of wisps.

This can mean only one thing. Malfurion is beckoning the aid of his ancestors.

The Warchief has already taken a scouting party ahead to Darkshore to intercept him. Please, <name>. Find the Warchief and see if she has yet caught her prey.

We have secured all of Ashenvale, but we must keep the pressure on.

Completion

I've been tracking Malfurion's every movement. The lord of the forest cannot hope to outmatch one who served as Ranger-General of Silvermoon.

Notes

Head west out of Astranaar then north along the road past Maestra's Post and Orendil's Retreat to find Sylvanas Windrunner just on the other side of the border with Darkshore.

There, Malfurion Stormrage has rooted Sylvanas and a handful of Orgrimmar Grunts. Malfurion is casting [Wrath] on Sylvanas, and she is returning fire with [Black Arrow], but neither are having much of an effect.

The wisp wall, or the Spirit of the Kaldorei spell.

Approach the scene and the grunts break free:

Malfurion Stormrage yells: You will come no further, Banshee Queen!

Malfurion raises a wall of wisps. The grunts run to it...

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner yells: Soldiers... No! Do not rush the--!

...and are immediately killed.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner yells: Fools... At least now we know how dangerous the wisps can be.
