Orgrimmar Wind Riders are mounted orc guards found protecting the skies of Orgrimmar atop their wyverns.
Prior to the Battle for the Broken Shore they were preparing their mounts at the Dranosh'ar Blockade, many of them accompanied the orc fleet alongside Darkspear Bat Riders. Most of the wind riders did not survive.
During the Legion Invasions, contingents of them were sent to defend Azshara and the Northern Barrens.
Prior to the Burning of Teldrassil, they were once again seen preparing at the Dranosh'ar Blockade.
They guarded Orgrimmar during the battle at the Gates of Orgrimmar.
