Palkar is a young orc of the Frostwolf clan who serves as Drek'Thar's personal attendant.
Biography[]
Lord of the Clans[]
Ever since he was an orcling, he served as an attendant to the aging Frostwolf shaman Drek'Thar, who had been chieftain of the clan since the death of Durotan and the disappearance of Durotan's infant son, later known as Thrall.[1] Just as Thrall would return one day and become Drek'Thar's student, Palkar was also trained in the ways of the shaman by Drek'Thar and became a shaman in his own right.
Shaman[]
Prior to the Shattering, Palkar escorted Drek'Thar to Mulgore to meet with Muln Earthfury, leader of the Earthen Ring. Drek'Thar threw a fit, but Palkar was able to calm him using herbs. He then carried him to Orgrimmar.[2]
The Shattering: Prelude to Cataclysm[]
Palkar remained at Drek'Thar's side as the Frostwolf shaman grew ever older, and although it pained him to witness his mentor's slow decline, he had vowed to care for him until the venerable orc's last breath. As his master's memory failed, he largely dismissed Drek'Thar's visions as a sign of his increasing senility, and did not send word to Thrall of their import. Upon learning from Perith Stormhoof that the old shaman's vision that a peaceful gathering of night elf and tauren druids would be attacked had indeed come to pass, Palkar began to take his master's visions seriously again.[3]
Dragonflight[]
Palkar was in Frostwolf Village with his wolf, Whiteclaw, when Eitrigg and an orc adventurer came to speak with Drek'Thar about bringing back the Kosh'harg. Palkar commented that the adventurer's quest was a worthy one, but stated that he would not attend the festival himself since Drek'Thar's health was fading and he felt he had to stay by the farseer's side as long as he was still alive.[4]

- Palkar made his first in-game appearance in patch 10.0.7, 21 years after he was first introduced in Lord of the Clans.
- He uses the WoD Frostwolf orc voicelines.
