Notes[]

Prior to patch 7.0.3, this battle pet was one of the most popular pets due to its burst damage in conjunction with Chrominius' Howl effect. You first used Geyser followed by Whirlpool, then switched to Chrominius to use Howl to increase the target's damage taken by 100%. At the end of Chrominius' turn, both Geyser and Whirlpool would expire simultaneously and wreak havoc on an enemy pet's health.

The tactic was commonly referred to as "howl-bomb" and worked very well against many PvE pet battles. Because of howl-bomb's effectiveness, the tactic was eventually broken by Blizzard.
