A variety of dark big cat hunting in the shadow, panthers are found in the Lost Isles, Swamp of Sorrows, and all over Stranglethorn Vale. Since the Cataclysm, they have disappeared from the Swamp of Sorrows.

The jungle trolls have long coveted panther fangs, using them for rituals or as ingredients in mojos.

A being like a "winged panther" was one of the Ancient Guardians that fought during the War of the Ancients. It had almost human hands. This may have been Ashamane.

Biology

Panther meat is suitable for comsumption.

Their fangs are commonly used in troll rituals and certain kinds of mojo, their claws can be used in troll alchemy, their hearts, when combined with the fungus of a bog beast and the blood of a green dragon, can be used to make a truth serum, and their hides are valuable across Azeroth.
