Paper-Covered Rock is obtained by gathering normal crops at Sunsong Ranch in the Valley of the Four Winds. Normal crops are cooking ingredients, like 
[Juicycrunch Carrot], 
[Pink Turnip], etc. Other tradeskill crops (like 
[Enigma Seed], etc) do not appear to have a chance to drop the Paper-Covered Rock.

This item starts the Brawler's Guild Challenge Card quest 
[100] Paper-Covered Rock.
