This article lists all undocumented changes for patch 9.1.0. All documented changes should be listed on the main article.

Classes

Mage

• Spells that are cast while [Disciplinary Command] is on cooldown no longer count towards activating the legendary effect.

Quests

• Quests from Ve'nari such as  [60WG] Power of the Colossus and  [60] The Jailer's Share are now daily instead of weekly.
•   [45 Daily] Blingtron 6000 is now marked as trivial for higher-level characters.
• Players are now forcibly ejected from their vehicle after completing the related world quest.

NPCs

• All of Kael'thas Sunstrider's voiced lines, from both The Burning Crusade and Shadowlands, have been replaced with a different voice actor.
• Trade Prince Donais removed from game, with Zanagan Mixmaster confirming he's dead.

Creatures

• The following creatures have had their model updated:
  • Boar
  • Warp stalker
• Mechagon mechagnome has been updated with a new animation where their hands turn into propellers when swimming.

Pet Battles

•  [Jiggles],  [Ruffle],  [Sinheart], and  [Trootie] can now be summoned by any character regardless of their Covenant membership status. Covenant restriction for pet battling is still in effect.

Achievements

•  [Battle on the Broken Isles] no longer rewards  [Pocket Pet Portal].
• The following achievements have been moved to the Legacy category:
  •  [Fel-Smelter] and  [Mass Obliteration]
  •   [The Prestige]
• The following achievements now require completing 15 special encounters (down from all):
  •  [Adventurer of Ardenweald]
  •  [Adventurer of Bastion]
  •  [Adventurer of Maldraxxus]
  •  [Adventurer of Revendreth]

Items

•  [Pocket Pet Portal] has been deprecated and renamed to  [Broken Pet Portal].
•  [Interdimensional Pet Portal] has been deprecated and renamed to  [Shattered Pet Portal].
•  [Runeblade of Baron Rivendare] now increases Speed rating instead of granting an increase to movement speed.
•  [Obliterum] and  [Obliterum Ash] have both been deprecated.
•  [Bloody Gold Purse] now contains 3-4, down from 50.
•  [Ambassador's Reserve] is no longer unique and now stacks to 100 (up from 3). Additionally, it can now be purchased from   Lady Ilinca <Court Concierge> for 10 .
•  [Gnomish Gravity Well] no longer works in Shadowlands zones.
•  [Wormhole Generator: Shadowlands] now includes an option for Korthia.

Mounts

• Various mounts have had their running animations updated:
  • Gryphons
  • Hippogryphs
  • Mammoths
  • Talbuks
• Sinrunner Blanchy is now a flying mount (formerly ground).

Dungeons and Raids

• Torghast, Tower of the Damned
  • Ashen Phylacteries no longer require a cast time upon interaction.

World environment

• Grouping in the Maw no longer requires other party members to sync with the party lead in Oribos.
• Burden of Penitence: Ground visual effect in main area of Temple of Purity is now a much lighter, softer blue.

Bug Fixes

• Suppression Aura now correctly slows players down again in the Halls of Strife in Blackwing Lair.

User Interface

• The chat window now notifies a player which Covenant soulbind they are using upon switching specialization.
