Trivia
Pearl milk tea is also known as boba, or bubble milk tea. The 'boba', 'bubble', or 'pearl' refers to small balls of soft tapioca which are added to the bottom of the drink. The drink is used with a wide straw so that the tapioca can be eaten with the liquid.
