[Opaque Dark Jade] requires 350 Jewelcrafting skill, and requires a 
[Simple Grinder].

Gem Perfection is an ability learned from the Gem Perfection (quest) quest, and causes attempts to craft particular socketable gem types (Northrend uncommon gems) to result in an improved ('perfect') version of that type of gem.
