The Petrified Forest is an expanse at the southern end of Felwood that consists of trees and ancients turned to stone. The stone corpses of the sentient trees have looks of terror forever etched upon their granite faces, and they are frozen in poses that suggest they were caught in some nightmarish explosion.[1]
