Prophets (female prophetesses) are individuals who have been granted wisdom and insight[1] into the future.
Prophets meditate to see visions. Thanks to the ata'mal crystals, Velen is able to see alternate universes.[2] He is gifted with the Sight that allows him to see the prophetic visions.[3]
Drek'Thar, no longer having physical sight, has a spiritual sight, a gift that brought prophetic dreams and visions, even though he hasn't been referred to as a prophet, but a seer.[4][5]
