The Rangari, also called the "Eyes of the Prophet",[1] are a group of draenei scouts and rangers who silently stalk the farthest corners of Draenor. Their role in draenei society is mostly to gather valuable intelligence about the lay of the land, in order to use it for their advantage.
The organization is led by Exarch Naielle. One of their enclaves is located in the city of Elodor in Shadowmoon Valley.
In the main universe the Rangari survived the genocide of the draenei and are still active on Azeroth.[2] It is unknown if Naielle still leads them or not.
Activities[]
Early on, the Rangari learned from the Laughing Skulls that podlings hate fire.[3] The Rangari Refuge in Tanaan Jungle houses several Laughing Skull refugees and guards, which indicates that the two factions may still be close.
The Rangari draenei are seen across Draenor's locations, such as the jungles of Gorgrond, the Iron Docks, and Nagrand. The forces also appeared in Tanaan Jungle, stationed in Rangari Refuge. Some scouts have been imprisoned in the Hellfire Citadel but were rescued when the adventurers raided the place.
Some main universe Rangari accompanied the Dragonscale Expedition to the Dragon Isles.[2]

Notes and trivia[]
- The "Karabor Rangers" were probably intended to be a sub-group of the Rangari, or their original name.[4]
- Ranger Paalu in Battle for Azeroth was originally called "Rangari Paalu" in the early beta.
