Rangari Rajess is one of Rangari that was stationed at the camp of Naielle's Watch, until it was overrun by the genesaur Iyu and his forces. They were accidently drawn to it by Thaelin Darkanvil fleeing Iyu in his steamtank. Separated from the others, Rajess fended off a podling attack and when informed help was coming by, waited to be picked up.
After the outpost at Highbank is established, Rajess becomes its flight master.
