Ravael was a night elf who sought out Illidan Stormrage in Outland to fight the Burning Legion. He told Vandel that he had "lost everything," but did not elaborate further.[1] He survived the rites to become a demon hunter, but lost control during a training duel with Vandel and assumed his demon form. Vandel killed Ravael and consumed his soul to heal his own wounds.[2]
