Razormaw is an undead black dragon that haunts Wyrmscar Island off the coast of Bloodmyst Isle.
He is summoned by using the [Bundle of Dragon Bones], provided by Prince Toreth, on the Ever-burning Pyre.
Background[]
Razormaw is a former lieutenant of Deathwing. Many thousands of years before the present time, the night elves of Silvergale Isle made a pact with the Aspect Ysera's brood. The elves were gifted with Ysera's blessing and were allowed to ride the dragons into battle against their enemies. They were known as the Dragon Riders of Loreth'Aran. This unfortunately attracted Deathwing's ire, and he sent his flight, including his lieutenant Razormaw, to launch an attack on the night elves while they were sleeping. The green dragons rose up to protect their elven allies but eventually they were all defeated by Deathwing's brood. Razormaw however, also perished in the final battle.
Many thousands of years later the remains of battle can still be seen. Gigantic draconic skeletons litter the isle and the spirits of green whelps wander aimlessly, attacking all that approach. Razormaw's hatred was so great that even in death he still remains, as a spectral dragon circling overhead. Prince Toreth, a ghost of one of the riders that remains to keep the world from forgetting the Dragon Riders of Loreth'Aran, asks passing adventurers to summon down the ghostly black dragon, and defeat it to end the haunting of the isle.
