Ruins of Nordressa.
The Ruins of Nordressa is an area west of the Northern Rocketway Exchange where the Image of Archmage Xylem is located along with several of his apprentices. The quest chains involving Xylem start here, initiated by Sorata Firespinner, a burnt-out apprentice who gives players an apprentice's hat and sends them here.
The entrance to this area is on the eastern side of the encampment around [48.5, 19.8] and is marked by a series of torches. After players have completed some tasks for Xylem and his apprentices, they will be sent to the Arcane Pinnacle, where Xylem's trials take place.
